Mead, of course, meaning fermented Honey beverage. Mead DAY is an invention of the Association of Home Brewers to encourage the drinking of Fine Meads. Yes, I did type it wrong the first time. Mead wasn't invited the AOHB, but Mead Day was. Mead seems to be older than recorded history, so I'm sure the Mead God(s) will forgive me for the word-o.
