Seattle Marathon 2005
This post has nothing to do with OLAP, MDX, Analysis Services and computers at all. Must be first time since I started the blog, but I guess I can allow myself this little offtopic. Last weekend I ran in the annual Seattle Marathon. I didn't have enough time to train for the full distance, so I did half-marathon instead. I barely beat my target of finishing under 2:30 by logging chip time of 2 hours 29 minutes and 32 seconds ! I finished at 2139 place, but it doesn't matter, because according to my 5 years old daugther who came to cheer for me - I was the winner. When I asked why does she think so - she replied - "Dad - they gave you a medal - this means you won the race !". So who cares about these 2138 finishers in front of me :) I started running this summer mostly in order to get in better shape before the start of fall soccer season (or as we, Europeans, call it more properly "football"), but I started to enjoy it so much, that running became the goal by itself. I am addicted to it now, and already looking forward to the next race...
