Analysis Services 2005 Brings You Automated Time Intelligence" is published in the June's issue of SQL Server Magazine. However it is accessible to everyone on the Web, you don't need to have subscription (Rob and I gave up our author fees in exchange for that). What we tried to do in this article was to emphasize some of the best practices and decisions behind the design that Time Intelligence wizard does and MDX it generates. We wrote very detailed article, but unfortunatelly it was 4 (!) times bigger then what the magazine could accept, so we had to cut a lot. Also we had to make it less technical then in the beginning in order to be understood by the general reader. Nevertheless, I beleive that the result is still very interesting read. We plan to put all the material (and some more) that we were forced to cut into our upcoming book.
