If I had a dollar for every time in the last 2 months that someone asked me where to find a good, available SQL Server DBA in Columbus, Ohio, well I wouldn't be rich, but I'd have a few more dollars. All that to say, if anyone is interested in making a move and has experience with SQL Server, I know of 3 really good opportunities for an intermediate to senior person right away. There is at least one more I know of that will be coming available in the next 4 months. What is frustrating is that I know a lot of DBAs in the area, but we are all very busy right now. All that is good for DBAs and SQL Server in general, but bad for companies that are looking for help.
