November 2005 - Posts

I flew in to SF today for the launch.  Shortly after I got in, I went over to the convention center to check in and see the setup.  Preparations are going well and I got to see Matt Nunn who will be going to Vegas after the event is done tomorrow to deliver the keynote on Tuesday at the connections event.

PASS has a kiosk in a very good area.  Come by and we will give you something to talk about.  I will be blogging tomorrow about the event and how things went.

A colleague of mine wrote an article about the SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA).  It is a good one!

I just heard that the exams are filling up rapidly for SQL Server 2005.  Even faster than the Visual Studio exams.  I think it shows the excitement that we all have for the launch next week.  I will be in SF for the Launch at the PASS booth on Nov 7th.  Stop by and say "Hello" for 10 minutes.

If you haven't heard about the new model for certification, check out the information available on www.microsoft.com.
