Well, another full day of meetings for me while attendees enjoyed pre-conferences until the evening....

After the speaker orientation, the welcome reception took place where the SIG Bowl game took place.  The SIG Bowl is a fun event put on by the Special Interest Groups of PASS to create a little fun at the start of the Conference.  It was similar to Jeopardy where teams buzzed in on questions to get points with one final question where each team wagers a portionof their points.  A lot of work went into it and it was a fun event to watch.

The SQL Server Central (SSC) folks had a reception for anyone who registered for PASS through their site after the general reception.  They had some Black Jack, Craps, and Texas Hold'em tables set up where you could have a little fun.  They also had prize give aways too during the game.  It was a great time!

The general conference starts Wednesday with a keynote and then the sessions!!!  Looks like a lot of good sessions this year.
