As I mentioned in my previous post, I was able to a take a week of vacation, but I had to pay for it in more ways than one. I had to let a few things slip. This blog was just one of them. I also let my www.RickSQL.com site slip too. I have not been adding new content there like I wanted to do (1 new item per week is my goal). I just added a really basic demo on PerfMon. It describes how to set up a PerfMon trace and some of the basic options. This first foray into PerfMon does not cover any "analysis" of the counters, but more of a "How to set it up" type of session. If you already know how to setup a PerfMon trace, this will not be interesting. If you are new to PerfMon, it is information that you need to know.
