I'm sitting in the PSS boot camp for PASS and didn't think I would have anything to blog about. How wrong could I be.

Keith Elmore of the PSS team is currently presenting on performance problem solving in SQL 2005.  Whats new is that in SP2 there is going to be a Performance Dashboard for Management Studio. It is a set of reports that work based on the custom reports functionality in Management Studio. The reports provide a graphical representation of the wealth of information in the dynaminc management views.

PASS 2006 - Seattle

I arrived in Seattle yesterday along with some bods from Conchango and Darren Green (and tons more brits going to PASS). Bizarrely it was cheaper to get a limo to the hotel than a cab, go figure. So we got to the Hotel in style and managed then manage to stay up until 11 to try and beat the jet lag.
